Sermorelin vs Modified GRF(1-29)

By Dr. M. Reyes

Sermorelin and mod GRF(1-29) are the same biologically active fragment — the first 29 amino acids of GHRH. The difference is stability. Sermorelin is the native, unprotected sequence, which DPP-4 degrades within minutes. Mod GRF(1-29) adds four substitutions that resist that degradation, extending the half-life to ~30 minutes.

Functionally both stimulate natural, pulsatile GH release and preserve the body's feedback regulation — the key advantage over exogenous GH. Members who want a compound with prior FDA history lean sermorelin; those who want a longer practical half-life lean mod GRF(1-29). The discussion below covers both.
